• After Hurricane Katrina, Lil Wayne relocated to Miami, FL, where he currently resides.

• Lil Wayne is the originator of the term "bling-bling", as well as "drop it like it's hot".

• Weezy doesn't write his rhymes. He recites them from memory, like Jay Z and the late Notorious BIG.

• Lil Wayne has helped to popularise the BAPE clothing line.

• He currently attends the University of Houston.
